Spring Break '09 in Keystone, Colorado!

I LOVE to bungee jump when I am on my ski trips! It's a great way to see the mountains!

Tinkerbell pose!

Mom took a day of snowboarding lessons. She fell down tons of times. She had bruises everywhere.

I took snowboarding lessons too. It was fun, but frustrating to keep falling down. Mom and I sure got our practice at standing back up.

Daddy defies gravity on his snowboard!

Come on, let's ski!

I perfected my hockey stop and parallel turns this year. I am getting the hang of using poles.

Mom and I on top of Mt Dercum, we're ready to ski!

Dad and I goofing around! We also tubed at this crazy place that had tubing lanes made out of snow! We went so fast (up to 60 mph!) and spun around like crazy!

SNOW!

It doesn't snow often where we live, maybe once a  year, so when it does, it's very exciting! We were at our lake house and woke up to this on Sunday morning!

The view from the front door

It was so pretty!

My friend Ashley and I wasted no time getting outside and playing! We had snowball fights, and tried sled riding, and built these two great snowmen!

These were my first actual snowmen! Usually when we go skiing the snow is too dry to pack and  build a snowman! It was fun!

Lily and Lucy even got to have fun in the snow! Haven't they gotten big? Mom and Nee Nee had their hands full with them!

Jade's Visit

My friend Jade came back to Huntsville to visit. She lives in Berlin, Germany now, and I haven't seen her for eight months, so we were very excited to see each other! We had a lot of fun together! Here we are at Jump Zone!

Jade even got to spend the night on school nights and she went to school with me for three days! She used to go to the same school, so everyone knew her. We made a "Daily News" video every day together.

We played American Girls, and Jade brought her Kirsten doll. Here, we are getting them ready for the Mexican Fiesta we had one night.

We went to the lake house on the weekend and played with the dogs. We also played with Ashley, watched movies, played Littlest Pet Shop, and did the Mentos in soda experiment.

Jade went back to Berlin and I miss her, but she will be back for a visit this summer!

We really do like these rides, honestly!

I can feel the G-forces!!! It's just like riding in Daddy's Viper! Are  you going to be sick, Daddy?

Prepare for impact! We are NOT crash-test dummies!

My arms are getting tired from holding up this GIANT golf ball!

We are ready to meet the Yeti!

I love this ride, really I do! The Yeti just missed us!

Trip to Disney, where dreams come true!

We went to Disney World on January 9th. I was so excited to get there and start my vacation! We did so much and had so much fun while we were there, these are just a few of our memories! Here I am on the deck of our one bedroom villa at Saratoga Springs. On our first night, we saw Cirque du Soleil, La Nouba at Downtown Disney. It was so great! I could watch it over and over! I loved the Diablo act the best.

I ran my first official race on Saturday Jan 10th. It was a 400 meter dash! It was exciting! Mom and Dad cheered for me!

Daddy ran the WDW marathon the day after my race. Mom and I cheered for him at the finish line! It was awesome to see him cross the finish line! YEA, Daddy!

Hanging out with Mickey in the Race Retreat tent after Daddy finished!

Minnie is my favorite Disney character! She's such a sweetie!

Dad and I got trips to the Spa for our running achievements! It was my first Spa Experience and it was AWESOME! I had a 25 minute massage, a facial, a pedicure and a manicure! Dad had a 50 minute Swedish massage. I can't wait to go to the Spa again!

We went to Downtown Disney for dinner at Fulton's Crabhouse on Marathon Day! Dad and I were proud to wear our medals! Looks like this guy has run too many marathons!

Mom and I are in the safari, or maybe at Animal Kingdom!

So, Mom and I convinced Daddy to go on Primeval Whirl with us, we told him there wasn't much spinning. He disagreed and felt nauseous!

I finally faced my fears and went on Expedition Everest, and I loved it! It is so FUN! Daddy was crazy and took pictures while we were on it! Mom sat behind me and we all enjoyed it! I am so glad that I did it!

Of course, I had to do some Hooping while in Disney.

I met these great guys on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom! Scoop the reporter is a master pin trader, and I ended up snagging 5 pins (including exclusives) for one pin traded! He was so charming! Then the Mayor of the Magic Kingdom got into the act too. Scoop and I even had the same fashion sense that day!

Captain Hook walked by right when Mom took this picture. You never know who you will see!

We had such a nice day in the Magic Kingdom, it wasn't that crowded because of rain and cooler temps so the ride lines weren't long at all. Mom and Dad surprised me with a lunch at Cinderella's Castle! It was great seeing all the princesses! We saw Cinderella, Princess Aurora, Belle, Jasmine, and Snow White. That's a lot of royalty!

I still love seeing the Princesses and the Characters!

Daddy wasn't falling for our attempts to get him on the teacups! Anyone for a cup of tea?

I drove Daddy around the Tomorrowland Speedway even though it rained on us! I'm a pretty good driver! I also faced my fears and rode on Rock-n-Roller Coaster at Hollywood Studios. It was so FUN! I am so glad that I conquered that one too! I can't wait to go back to Disney World, to make more magical memories with my family!

Trip to Grammy and Papa's House!

Mom and I took a quick trip to Grammy and Papa's house after Christmas! We got to see all my Aunts on my Mom's side, and Grammy and Papa, plus my great grandparents, plus all my cousins on my Mom's side! It was awesome! Here I am on the couch with Audrey, and Katherine! We are getting ready for Game Night!

We played with three teams, and every twenty minutes we had to switch to a different game. We played Life, Scrabble, and Tangrams. It was fun!

Uncle Andrew (and Aunt Sarah) had to play Tangrams with a blindfold on, since it is their game and they know the patterns too well. It was pretty funny! I am playing with Uncle Andrew and Aunt Megan.

Aunt Sarah and Laura carry on with the Scrabble game.

Grammy and Hazel read a book together!

Grammy made homemade doughnuts for us in the morning! YUMMY! We shook them in bags of cinnamon sugar or powdered sugar.

We had a sleepover and watched a movie together. We all didn't end up sleeping together, but it was fun to snuggle while watching the movie.

On the last day, I got some time alone with Grammy and Papa. We played with my American Girl dolls and just hung out. I visited Gramma and Papa White in the nursing home while I was there too. It was a good visit! I can't wait to visit them again!
