Hazel comes to visit me!!

My baby cousin Hazel came to visit me last weekend and it was so fun! Hazel is so cute, she has the cutest little toes and ears, and she is so smiley and fun to play with!

Hazel checks out the pool and her new crab float! She loves the water as much as I do. I think she gets it from her parents.

We went to the Botanical Gardens and I got to pet a few dinosaurs! These dinosaurs look alot more realistic than the dinosaurs at Dinosaur World in Kentucky, which I make Mom stop at when we drive to Indiana.

Hazel got pretty worn out looking at all the sights, so she had a quick nap.

You can get out of the time-out chair when you can behave, Uncle Glenn!

I am so glad that Aunt Megan and Uncle Glenn brought Hazel to visit me! I can't wait to see them again!

The Big One!

Look what I caught last weekend! I caught two catfish and one bass at the lake house! I was fishing with my friend, Eli! After the photo shoot the fish were released, to go home to their fishy families and tell them of their adventures!

Skiing in Steamboat, Colorado!

Ok, finally the ski pics are on the blog! We all had a great time in Steamboat! The big news was that I became a level 5 skier and was able to use poles for the first time! I was so excited to try them out, mostly I liked doing stunts like putting the poles on my head, like antlers, or swinging them around!

Here I am skiing down a blue run with my poles in action, note my good ski form!

A snack at the top of the chairlift is a must when you ski all day and don't break for lunch! Chocolate and Gatorade are good for energy and staying hydrated! They also make me ski faster down those runs!

Here I am at the top of the gondola. We take a few pictures here every year. This year, Mom says I look taller and like a big kid, that's because I am a "tween" now, at least in attitude.

Here's Mom and me skiing down a blue. We skied mostly blues this year, and only went on greens for a break or to get from one blue to another. We even tried a black diamond.

I love going on the bungee bouncy at the bottom of the hill. I go on it every year. It feels like I am flying and the people look like little ants! I like to shout and scream with joy when I am up there!

Look, I am up in the clouds! I'm flying!

See how high I go! I am as high as the buildings! It is so fun!

Here's our annual family picture. We love our ski trips!

Fish Creek Falls, Colorado

While we were on our ski trip, we visited Fish Creek Falls. It was a neat park full of pristine snow, a frozen waterfall, and a thawing creek. That is the frozen waterfall behind us.

This is the creek. The snow looked amazing, like whipped cream or marshmallows. We threw snowballs into the water and watched the snowballs float along the creek.

This is an awesome snowball maker! It actually works. Here are a few uses for snowballs:

Use it as a punctuation mark at the end of your snow initials.

Eat it! Yum, Mother Nature's snowcones!

Pose with it!

Throw it at the cameraman, when you have had enough photos taken! Look out, Dad!

Wacky Wednesday!

It was Wacky Wednesday and all the Who girls and boys,
Were in their classroom making some noise.
The little Who girls looked so cute and so sweet,
The little Who boys were all looking for treats.
What was this day that they loved most of all?
It was Dr. Seuss' birthday, and they had a ball!

February Pictures

I dressed up in my Cupid Best for Valentine's Day at school! We made valentines for our classmates at school out of stickers, paper, glitter, and doilies. Mom came to help with our crafts. At home we had a Valentine's Day party and gave each other small gifts. I got a love frog Webkinz, which I named Hermione. I am really into the Harry Potter books and movies right now. We had a Potter-a-thon in January and February and watched all the Harry Potter movies.

This is my Stone Age Diorama. We had to pick a time in history and make a diorama. I had a fun time with this. I named the Woolly Mammoth, Ralph. I made cave drawings that tell stories on the back of the box.

My cousins, Katherine and Laura came for a quick visit! We had a sleepover and had a great time! I can't wait to see them again! I will see them in WDW this summer, which I am already planning. I have started making my lists of things I want to do there.

Look, up in the sky!

It's a bird, it's a plane, it's Super Toucan!
She flies in the sky.
She dips, she weaves, avoiding trees with the greatest of ease!

She's Super Toucan!
