Cousins visit! Nov 2009

My cousins, baby Elise and Hazel came to visit me! We started off the week with everyone coming to see my choir and handbell performance. Aunt Megan, Hazel, Elise, Grammy and even Uncle Brian was there. It was great!

I had to fight with Mom to hold Elise, but I got my time in.
She was so cuddly and sweet!

We took Aunt Megan, Hazel and Elise out to Orange Tree Frozen Yogurt one day after school.

We also got Gigi's Cupcakes to enjoy with everyone while they were here, and to celebrate Uncle Brian's birthday!

Even Uncle Brian got in on the Little People play sessions at our house! Hazel is very persuasive, when she wants you to play with her.

Halloween 2009

I went to my new school's Halloween Carnival! It was so fun! I wanted to be a Ghoul at the Carnival, because I didn't want my friends to recognize me and I wanted to scare people!
It worked!

Mom worked at the Obstacle Course, it was so fun to go through it with my friends!

Getting the guts out of my pumpkin feels so slimy good!

Our family pumpkins. Mine is a Cat, Dad's is a scary face, Mom made the Owl!

Our Gruesome Grub dinner this year! Pumpkin seeds, Roasted Toes, Mummy Toes (that I made) and Cheddar Eye Balls with olive eyes.

Body Bits! YUM! We also had swamp dip and witches fingers again.

For Halloween I was Coraline this year. I love the movie and book! Mom and I made the doll.

Our family picture!

The Big Change!

I have been growing my hair out for years. It is so long and beautiful! But, now I am ready for a change. A BIG CHANGE!

I decided a few years ago, that I wanted to donate my hair to Locks of Love, and I have been growing it ever since.

Here it is! Two 10 inch ponytails!

Wow! My hair feels so different. It feels so short and swingy! I love it! And I feel good about giving my hair to someone who needs it.

Trip to Disney, October 2009

Mom and I took Grammy to Disney World over my fall break! We were all so excited!
Here I am, packed up and ready to load the car and go!

Of course I have to get some hoop action wherever I go!

We stayed at the Wilderness Lodge. It was really neat! I convinced Mom to go on the water slide at the pool.

Whee!

This is our horse that took us on the Haunted Carriage ride!

Chip and Dale!

Mom and I love riding on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad! Grammy sat this one out, but I did get her on Goofy's Barnstormer! She was so brave!

We had to ride the Haunted Mansion ride since it was October.

I love hippos! This one was cute on the Small World ride, and I also really bonded with the hippo at the Animal Kingdom.

I love Scoop at the Magic Kingdom! He is the best!

Grammy and I on the TTA. This was so relaxing and cool, especially since it was so HOT when we were there.

I always get a turkey leg! They are the best!

I made some friends while waiting for the Spectromagic parade. It was a great parade!

Mom and I dressed up for the Halloween party. I am Coraline and she is the "Other Mother". Grammy dressed up as a Fairy Grandmother.

We went to Mickey's Not-so-Scary Halloween party. It was a blast! The Boo to You Halloween parade was one of the best at WDW ever!

Mom and I caught some water blobs at Epcot.

Doing a little shopping with Daisy and Donald.

I made my own Mickey ears. This was really fun!

This hat's one of a kind!

Mr Potato Head welcomes me to Once Upon a Toy in Downtown Disney.

We had lunch at Rainforest Cafe. It was really good!

MMMM! Ghiradelli ice cream!

I got to see my good friend Laura at Epcot and watched her show in Italy.
She is so fun!

Goofy and I hanging out at Cape May Cafe.

Breakfast with friends is always a treat!

Awww, Donald.

I am so glad I got to take Grammy to Disney World. It was a fun trip and I can't wait to go back!

Labor Day 2009

On Labor Day Weekend, I got my own wakeboard. This was my first attempt at wakeboarding. I was so excited that I got up on my first try, I couldn't believe it, and let go!

Here I am up and sporting my style!

I even figured out how to ride switch (switch from regular to goofy stance) before Mom and Dad did! (They still can't do it. hee hee.)

Hmmm. I think I will lie down here and take a little rest.

Ashley and I had great fun on the tube over the weekend too.

I don't think this is the way we are supposed to ride, but it's fun!

Ashley, you are about to fall off!

Ashley is trying to keep me from bailing out! We had a great summer at the lake!
