Meet my New Baby!

I got Minnie my Min Pin yesterday. She is 7 and a half weeks old.

Minnie is tiny. She is smaller than a Webkinz.

She is the perfect size for Katie my American Girl doll.

We had a Hot Dog Celebration Dinner for Minnie's homecoming. Unfortunately she couldn't have any; too spicy.

Minnie is such a cutie!

Here's her tough girl pose.

Rosie looks like a Giant Dog around Minnie.

Minnie and Maisie getting to know each other.

I love her so much! I can't believe I have my baby now.

New Addition to our family. Jan 2010

We added a new member to our family. We found Maisie on the side of a busy road by our house on a very cold day. We tried to find her owners, but couldn't. She has had a rough life, and has a nasty scar on her head to prove it.

She was very nervous and scared when we first got her, but she is getting used to living inside and playing with toys and other dogs.

Maisie fits right in with my other two dogs, Rosie and Joey.

Sometimes Maisie helps Mom with the laundry.

She likes to "read" magazines when we aren't home.

I am so glad that we decided to keep her.

Christmas Break 2009

We spent Christmas at our lake house this year.

Ashley and I drove around in the golf cart every day. We have a lot of fun together.

"I want a hippopotamus for Christmas." Santa knows that I LOVE hippos! He brought these two to add to my collection.

Santa also brought me this rockin' drum set! It's awesome! I already sound good!

Mom and I drove to Grammy's house after Christmas to see all my cousins and aunties and uncles. We had our second annual game night. That was fun!

We also got to have a "Cousins Christmas" and got to give and receive our presents to each other. It was fun to see everyone open their presents that I helped pick out.

One of the best parts was seeing the new babies! I got to meet my baby boy cousin, Mac! He loves being held by all of us. My cousin Laura is very good at taking care of him.

Getting a snuggle with Elise. What a sweetie!

I love hanging out with my cousins! What an awesome Christmas break!

My Very Fine Ninth Birthday!

I started off my birthday festivities by celebrating with my family at the lake house over Thanksgiving break. The weather was warm, and I spent a lot of time driving our new golf cart. I love visiting the baby donkeys, kittens and a puppy just down the road.

Getting ready to open the presents!

I got great presents, including this awesome Gryffindor robe and a wand just like Hermione's.

Mom, Dad and I went to the Melting Pot for dinner on my actual birthday! We went to the Melting Pot last year in Atlanta for my birthday too. I love it!

I had a Sleepover Party with my BFFs the weekend after my birthday. It was a blast! We made lip gloss and perfume, and got new makeup and gave each other makeovers, then we had a photo shoot/dance party! We played wii games and board games, and had a taco bar for dinner, then a sundae bar for dessert! It was so fun hanging out with my friends!

We woke up to SNOW! We were so excited and couldn't wait to go out and play in it!

Snowball fight! What fun!

Cousins visit! Nov 2009

My cousins, baby Elise and Hazel came to visit me! We started off the week with everyone coming to see my choir and handbell performance. Aunt Megan, Hazel, Elise, Grammy and even Uncle Brian was there. It was great!

I had to fight with Mom to hold Elise, but I got my time in.
She was so cuddly and sweet!

We took Aunt Megan, Hazel and Elise out to Orange Tree Frozen Yogurt one day after school.

We also got Gigi's Cupcakes to enjoy with everyone while they were here, and to celebrate Uncle Brian's birthday!

Even Uncle Brian got in on the Little People play sessions at our house! Hazel is very persuasive, when she wants you to play with her.

Halloween 2009

I went to my new school's Halloween Carnival! It was so fun! I wanted to be a Ghoul at the Carnival, because I didn't want my friends to recognize me and I wanted to scare people!
It worked!

Mom worked at the Obstacle Course, it was so fun to go through it with my friends!

Getting the guts out of my pumpkin feels so slimy good!

Our family pumpkins. Mine is a Cat, Dad's is a scary face, Mom made the Owl!

Our Gruesome Grub dinner this year! Pumpkin seeds, Roasted Toes, Mummy Toes (that I made) and Cheddar Eye Balls with olive eyes.

Body Bits! YUM! We also had swamp dip and witches fingers again.

For Halloween I was Coraline this year. I love the movie and book! Mom and I made the doll.

Our family picture!

The Big Change!

I have been growing my hair out for years. It is so long and beautiful! But, now I am ready for a change. A BIG CHANGE!

I decided a few years ago, that I wanted to donate my hair to Locks of Love, and I have been growing it ever since.

Here it is! Two 10 inch ponytails!

Wow! My hair feels so different. It feels so short and swingy! I love it! And I feel good about giving my hair to someone who needs it.
