Skiing in Steamboat, Colorado!

Ok, finally the ski pics are on the blog! We all had a great time in Steamboat! The big news was that I became a level 5 skier and was able to use poles for the first time! I was so excited to try them out, mostly I liked doing stunts like putting the poles on my head, like antlers, or swinging them around!

Here I am skiing down a blue run with my poles in action, note my good ski form!

A snack at the top of the chairlift is a must when you ski all day and don't break for lunch! Chocolate and Gatorade are good for energy and staying hydrated! They also make me ski faster down those runs!

Here I am at the top of the gondola. We take a few pictures here every year. This year, Mom says I look taller and like a big kid, that's because I am a "tween" now, at least in attitude.

Here's Mom and me skiing down a blue. We skied mostly blues this year, and only went on greens for a break or to get from one blue to another. We even tried a black diamond.

I love going on the bungee bouncy at the bottom of the hill. I go on it every year. It feels like I am flying and the people look like little ants! I like to shout and scream with joy when I am up there!

Look, I am up in the clouds! I'm flying!

See how high I go! I am as high as the buildings! It is so fun!

Here's our annual family picture. We love our ski trips!

Sarah Kate, I am so impressed with your skiing ability. Do you know I have never been skiing ever? I'll bet you are way way way better than me. Looks like you had a lot of fun.

My next skill is to water ski. I can already kneeboard and Mom and Dad bought me kid-sized water skis, so I will be trying that out soon.

Grammy water skied once when she was 16 on the Wabash River. It was fun, sort of like flying on the water. I will look forward to seeing your pictures.
