One of my favorite May traditions is to pick strawberries at the berry farm! These strawberries make the grocery store berries taste like plastic! They are so good!
I make sure I taste test a lot of them before I pick them!
Here is our haul this year! I can't wait to eat them all!

Did Uncle Brian go with you? Our town is having a Strawberry Festival this weekend. I tried to convince Papaw to enter the strawberry recipe contest, but he couldn't find a chili recipe made with strawberries.
Yes, Grammy, we took Uncle Brian with us. I wanted to show him that strawberries actually grew on a plant and not in the plastic container at the grocery store! I bet Papaw could make a strawberry bread with strawberry butter! I wish I was going to be there this weekend!
I am glad you are attempting to educate Uncle Brian. He went with me a long time ago when we lived in Ohio, and picked strawberries, but your Momma probably had to babysit Aunt Megan and Baby Sarah.
When you come to Fun club, we will see what Papaw can whip up in the kitchen. I wish it were now!
