Summer of 2010 Part One

Ok, so I am trying to catch up on the blog. I had such a busy summer. I kicked off my summer with a Disney cruise to the Mediterranean. Here I am, waiting in the airport, getting ready for our day and night of flying to Barcelona, Spain.

When I got to Spain, I was so excited to get off the airplane (and so tired), I was even excited to see a McDonald's.

Mom, Dad and I found this cool park in Barcelona near our hotel. The slides were fantastic!

Finally we got on the cruise ship and I hooked up with my cousins, Laura, Katherine and Audrey. We had so much fun together!

This is Smooth-E, he was a comedian on the ship and his shows were the funniest ever! Katherine and I made up a song called the "flip flop song" and we sang it for him after one of his shows. Doesn't he look like Uncle Brian?

Just goofing around.

Ok, so I like to take pictures of feet. Here are a bunch of feet all over the Mediterranean. This is one of Katherine's and one of mine.

Laura's!

Two of mine, one of Katherine's.

Mine!

Mine and Mom's!

I Love My Cousins!

Laura ordered fish in Malta, and she got two whole fish (heads, tails and all)! She said they were delicious!

Katherine and I in Carthage, Tunisia.

Coke in Tunisia!

Mom and I in Capri, Italy. It was beautiful and really hilly!

Dad and I in Sorrento, Italy at a little outdoor cafe.

Pompeii was amazing! It was one of my favorite stops. I loved seeing the old city and the destruction caused by Mt. Vesuvius.

Mom and I in the Coliseum in Rome. WOW! It was so big!

These are the guards outside Vatican City, seriously!

Dad and I in Rome, there are Egyptian Obelisks everywhere in Europe.

Dad and I in Florence, Italy. I had the best ice cream in Florence, it was nutella flavored and had a cookie in the bottom of the cone!

Pisa was so-so. It was neat to see, but I expected more.

Monaco was beautiful!

Audrey and I in Monte Carlo, Monaco.

Dad and I checking out the view in Monaco.

Dad celebrated his birthday on the ship and this is the dessert they brought him!

I loved our servers! They were so nice and funny. This is Ivan, from Hungary.

This is Yadira, from the Dominican Republic.

I really loved swimming in the sea in Barcelona after the cruise too! I was like a mermaid!

Thanks Mom and Dad, for the fun trip!

What a neat trip, Sarah Kate! It looks like you had such a good time. I really like your pictures of feet. You should make that like your calling card, and try to get pictures of feet with identifying features of everyplace you go.
